Whereas, it is documented that the federal government or entities that are acting on the behalf of the federal government via the Pentagon, or at the request of the federal government, may conduct geoengineering experiments by intentionally dispersing chemicals into the atmosphere and these activities are currently allowed within the State of Wyoming...

Whereas, the risk to human health and environmental welfare and the broad scale of geoengineering is currently not disclosed or understood and,

Whereas, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is responsible for monitoring all air, soil, and water quality, and relating industrial and agricultural emissions into the air, soil, and water within the State of Wyoming to ensure the safety of the public while not impeding agriculture or commerce within the state and,

Whereas, it is the role of Government to protect the public health and welfare of Wyoming citizens while allowing all authorized activities permitted under state law,

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the Wyoming Republican Party requests legislation be enacted to prohibit the intentional injection of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight."
