Resolution to Create Full Time Cyber Security Position

To create a full time cyber security position for the State of Wyoming which is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

WHEREAS the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has stated that there will be cyber attacks on U. S. elections.

WHEREAS the US Government does not have enough people to keep safe cyber information and cyber ransom is out of control.

WHEREAS the FBI does not recommend paying a ransom for hijacked citizen information and millions of personal information is being released to the public.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Wyoming Republican Party supports hiring a firm for a full time state cyber security position that will be manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
