Resolution Demanding That Congress Is Held Accountable for Spending

WHEREAS, any citizen writing checks out on an account that has no money can be sent to jail, and;
WHEREAS, our national debt has exceeded $31 trillion dollars, and;
WHEREAS, the debt cannot possibly be paid by the present taxpayers nor their children or grandchildren, and;
WHEREAS, there are more people receiving government benefits than people working to pay for the benefits, and;
WHEREAS, Congress should not be sending money to foreign countries when we don’t have the money, THEREFORE;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party demands that our United States Congress do not send money to any foreign country until our national debt is paid and we have the money to lend to the foreign countries.

I completely agree that Congress should be held accountable for how taxpayer money is spent. Transparency in spending decisions is essential, and discussions like this remind me why I prefer investing in low cost ghostwriting services to clearly communicate complex policy issues like this one.
