Pass an Educational Savings Account Program (E.S.A.)


WHEREAS, the Wyoming Republican Party is committed to the principles of educational freedom, parental choice, and individual empowerment in the pursuit of academic excellence;


WHEREAS, every child in Wyoming deserves access to a high-quality education that meets their unique needs, talents, and aspirations;


WHEREAS, a Universal Education Savings Account Program provides parents with the flexibility to tailor their children's education by providing them funds to allocate to a wide range of educational services, including but not limited to private school tuition, homeschooling materials, tutoring, and online learning resources;


WHEREAS, such a program fosters competition and innovation in the educational sector, driving up the quality of education across all forms of schooling;


WHEREAS, the implementation of a Universal Education Savings Account Program aligns with the values of the Republican Party, emphasizing the importance of family choice, fiscal responsibility, and limited government intervention; now, therefore


BE IT RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party hereby expresses its strong support for the passage of a Universal K-12 Education Savings Account Program by the state legislature, so long as no curriculum or testing requirements are attached


BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party urges all state legislators, especially those representing Wyoming, to actively advocate for and vote in favor of legislation that establishes a Universal K-12 Education Savings Account Program;


BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party calls upon its members and all citizens of Albany County to voice their support for this important initiative, recognizing the transformative impact it can have on the education and future success of our children;


BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be sent to all Wyoming state legislators, the Governor's office, and local media outlets to signal the strong support of the Wyoming Republican Party for this pivotal educational reform.
