If a Person in Wyoming Is Stopped or Pulled Over and Are Found to Be Here Illegally, They Can Be Charged With a State Felony.


WHEREAS, public health experts agree that the number one cause of death of Americans aged 18-45 is drug overdose. Fentanyl has been coming through southern borders, representing about 70% of those overdose deaths, and is being distributed by illegal means; and,


WHEREAS, the number of non-citizens in the U.S. represents at least ten times the population of Wyoming, thus diluting our power and influence; now, therefore,


BE IT RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party supports creating state legislation stating that if a person in Wyoming is stopped or pulled over and are found to be here illegally, they can be charged with a state felony and be detained.
