Government Agencies Must Stop Spying

WHEREAS, the National Security Administration has been found to spy on American citizens via telephone, the internet, and drones, and
WHEREAS, Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS) calls for retaining information and data on students, which is not academic, and
WHEREAS, the 4th Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees the right of the people to be secure against unreasonable searches except for probable cause;
BE IT RESOLVED, the Wyoming Republican Party believes that any information collected without written permission or probable cause, including due process, cannot be used against you or as a means to harass or coerce you in any way.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all government agencies, and any civilian contractors, must immediately cease and desist from unconstitutional surveillance activities of United States citizens without a search warrant of due process of law.
