Resolution Commending Secretary of State Chuck Gray for His Leadership on Election Integrity

WHEREAS, the right to vote in free and fair elections is a sacred cornerstone of the American Republic, and protecting the integrity of that right is among the highest duties of public office; and

WHEREAS, Secretary of State Chuck Gray has demonstrated unwavering dedication to preserving election integrity throughout his public service, both as a legislator and as Secretary of State; and

WHEREAS, Secretary Gray has undertaken a years-long, tireless campaign to ensure that only U.S. citizens vote in Wyoming elections, culminating in the passage of House Bill 156 ~ Proof of Voter Residency and Registration Qualifications, a landmark measure to secure the sanctity of the ballot box; and

WHEREAS, Secretary Gray has consistently educated the Legislature and the public on the importance of strong election safeguards, voter ID, and proof of citizenship, all in defense of Wyoming's sovereignty and self-governance; and

WHEREAS, he has not hesitated to stand toe-to-toe with entrenched powers, including taking principled stands against the Governor on the State Loan and Investment Board and elsewhere to defend conservative values and the rule of law; and

WHEREAS, Secretary Gray's leadership in the face of opposition from the Democrat-backed Alien Importation Complex and their radical allies in the legal system has shown courage, clarity, and conviction; and

WHEREAS, Wyoming is now under assault in court by extremist leftist organizations seeking to undermine HB156 and empower noncitizen voting, thereby diluting the voice of Wyoming citizens and nullifying the Legislature's will;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party enthusiastically commends Secretary of State Chuck Gray for his principled leadership, courageous advocacy, and steadfast work to protect election integrity in Wyoming; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party stands firmly behind Secretary Gray and the State of Wyoming in the legal defense of HB156 and opposes any and all attempts to allow noncitizens to participate in our elections; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to Secretary of State Chuck Gray and shared with other county parties across Wyoming, with the invitation to adopt similar resolutions in support of our election integrity laws.
