WHEREAS, the United States of America is a representative republic governed by specific principles to protect minorities from the majority and prevent our government from becoming centralized; and
WHEREAS, the “one person one vote” principle goes against those specific principles of representation of groups of people;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party insists that the
Wyoming State Legislature follow to the letter Article 3, Section 3, Legislative Apportionment in the Wyoming State Constitution.
