Wyoming Republican Party Chairman Matt Micheli released the following statement today in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling in the King v. Burwell case:
I was deeply disappointed in the Supreme Court decision of King v. Burwell. Obamacare is bad for America and bad for Americans. More fundamentally, today’s decision is a direct attack on the rule of law. Too often, congress passes broad and sweeping legislation, while the real governing is done by unelected and unaccountable administrative agencies. Today’s decision is a further erosion of the checks and balances that make this country strong. Americans remember that before Obamacare, there was Hillarycare. It is quite clear that if we want real solutions to fix the rising cost of healthcare that we must elect a Republican President and strong Republican majorities in Congress.
