The Wyoming Legislature's website has provided a "Summary of Bills" that are currently before committees. In order to help you to remain informed we will be publishing a list of those summaries for one committee each day.
Management Council:
HB0038 19LSO-0290 Per diem rates. This bill increases the statutory per diem rate for legislative activities to $149. Accordingly, the bill increases per diem rates which are based upon the legislative rate. The bill also requires the State Auditor to adjust the amount each year to equal the most recent standard per diem rate established by the U.S. General Services Administration for travel within Wyoming.
HB0059 19LSO-0327 Constituent service allowance. This bill allows a member of the Legislature to receive, in lieu of the quarterly constituent service allowance, reimbursement up to $1,500 per calendar quarter for mileage and lodging incurred in providing service to and on behalf of the member's constituents. The bill requires the member to submit a verified claim within a certain time and specifies what shall be included in the claim.
