GILLETTE, WY - The Campbell County Republican Party, in conjunction with the Wyoming Republican Party, is pleased to announce the location of the 2020 Wyoming Republican Party State Convention.
The 2020 State Convention is held every other year in alternating locations throughout Wyoming. Next year’s Wyoming Republican Party State Convention is slated to take place May 7-9 at the Cam-Plex Multi-Event Facility Wyoming Center in Gillette, WY.
“The Campbell County Republican Party is excited to host this convention and showcase Gillette, Campbell County and Northeast Wyoming,” stated Janet Mader, State GOP Executive Committee member and Campbell County GOP Executive Committee member, head of the convention planning committee. “The 2020 Republican State Convention will bring Republicans from across our great state to our community. Our local committee has plans to make this a premier ‘event’ that Republicans will want to attend with convention activities during the day and dinner entertainment each evening. Historically this convention brings upwards of 1000 Republicans; delegates, alternates, guests, families, & friends to the host community, a significant economic impact to our community.”
The business of the party is the focus of the biannual State Convention. Members of each county party are selected as delegates during County Conventions to carry their chapter’s Platforms, Resolutions, and By-Laws concerns to the state level.
