WYOMING OFFICIALS REQUEST TO HOST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE
CHEYENNE - Three of Wyoming's top officials, including the head of elections Secretary of State Edward Buchanan, Governor Mark Gordon and Treasurer Curt Meier, have asked that a Presidential debate occur in Wyoming this September. An early debate is necessary as early voting is already well underway. The letter sites fairness and transparency as two of the leading reasons this kind of a debate is necessary. The letter has been submitted to the Commission on Presidential Debates and a prompt response is expected.
