Want to learn more about Republic Review? View the Resources Included Below.
One of the WYGOP legislative priorities is a call for a Republic Review. The U.S. Constitution is actually a compact between the general (federal) government and the States. A Republic Review is an audit of the compliance status of the compact conditions, which established the separate powers and authorities of the general (federal) government of the United States and those of the States. The audit is to include an assessment of how the powers and authorities are currently being exercised, as compared to those established under the U.S. Constitution. The audit would reveal the measures needed to reestablish compliance under the compact, the U.S. Constitution.
