Wyoming’s Legislature must make difficult decisions this year. Either new revenue must be generated, which generally means more taxes, or we must cut government spending. In light of this, we need to have a discussion as to the appropriate size and scope of government.
Wyomingites are fiercely independent. We tend to think for ourselves and make our own decisions about our lives and our families. We understand the government is supposed to work for us not the other way around.
Do you want a bigger and more intrusive government? Or, are you willing to go without some government services to keep more money in your pocket and make decisions at a local level?
