What began as, likely, well-intentioned measures to curb prejudices with the goal of encouraging tolerance seems to have devolved into thought policing and attempting to impose totalitarian-like measures of the silencing of dissent of any kind.
Donald Trump has been bold in showing America that if there’s one thing a free people cannot tolerate, it is a totalitarian mandate to silence all opinions differing from your own.
