June is National PTSD Awareness Month. According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, over 8 million people in the United States suffer from PTSD. Veterans are not the only ones susceptible to this debilitating disease. Police officers, firefighters, veterans, and other survivors of traumatic experiences, can suffer from PTSD, too. The Wyoming Republican Party stands with these individuals and appreciates the sacrifices they have made for their communities and country.
