CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD IS OPEN! May 14-29 is the Wyoming candidate filing period.  All candidates for US House, US Senate, the Wyoming state House and Senate, County Commissioners, Hospital Districts, Conservation Districts, School Districts, Precinct Committeemen and Precinct Committeewomen, and any other position to appear on the August 18 Primary Election ballot must file in the next two weeks. Federal and state candidates file with the Wyoming Secretary of State’s office. Precinct men and women, and other county candidates, please call your County Clerk or visit your County Clerk’s website to access the Filing Form.  Note:  there is no charge to file for precinct committee people.   Now is the time for all good men and women to come to the aid of their party.  We must join together to be sure that we elect REPUBLICANS in November! FILING PERIOD IS OPEN FOR PRECINCT PEOPLE! Please consider running for the precinct committee people positions. Chat with your neighbors and family members about running. Every precinct in Wyoming is entitled to be represented by at least one man and one woman. The Republican Party is the party of the grass roots, and the precincts is where the action is! As a precinct person, you are a member of your county party’s Central Committee. Many counties have developed a Precinct Guide for committee men and women. Your County Chairman will be able to tell you how many meetings you will be expected to attend throughout the year, and other responsibilities you may be asked to assume.  These include helping Republican candidates, getting out the Republican vote, working at the polls or other election day activities, assisting with fund-raising events, or taking a shift manning the party booth at the county fair and other community events. The Term for precinct committee people is January 4, 2021 to January 2, 2023. Shortly after your term begins, your county party chairman will host an organizational meeting. Precinct committeemen and precinct committeewomen are the foundation of our Wyoming Republican Party. Contact your county party chairman for more, county-specific information.
